How to Submit Files to Moodle
- Start a web browser such as Firefox on the machine where your files reside. In your browser, enter moodle.bucknell.edu and login to Moodle with your user name and password.
- Select Intro to Computer Science I (CSCI203-ALL-FA2018).
- Select the homework assignment problem, e.g., hw0pr1.py, and click on “Add submission” button.
- Browse on your computer for the file you want to upload (submit) then drag and drop the file inside Moodle’s dashed box with the big blue arrow.
- After you have dragged and dropped your file, click the “Save changes” button to submit the file for grading.” Note: if you don’t click “Save changes,” we never see it!
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each file you want to upload.
- Before the deadline time, you may delete a file and upload a revised version as many times as you wish. If you want to delete a file that has already been uploaded, click on the “Edit submission” button. Then click on the file’s name then click “Delete” button. Click “OK” to the question. Now either submit a new version or press “Save changes”.
- If you worked with a partner, BOTH STUDENTS should submit the file individually. Each students should send a Moodle “Submission comments” message with the full name of your partner. To create a “Submission comments” message, click on the homework assignment problem, e.g., hw1pr2.py, then click on “Comments” to the right of “Submission comments” text. This will open a small window where you type in your comment. Then press “Save comment”.
- Remember to log out of Moodle.
