When I was a sophomore in college I visited Chinatown in LA with some friends. I decided to buy the carved statue of a God as a souvenir. I had trouble deciding which God to choose out of the many in the store, but finally decided on Fukurokuju, the god of wisdom. My friends told me it was a good choice. Ever since that time I have kept my eyes open for wisdom, and have decided to start an archive of the wisdom of others.
