• James Brake - (b. ; d. 1825 by falling tree) He apparently married in Hardy Co., (W)V in 1818. Current thinking on James.

• Sophronia "Fanny" Brake - (b. abt 1806?) Lived on South Fork, Hardy Co., (W)V.

• Catherine Brake (b. 1802) Lived on South Fork, Hardy Co., (W)V.

• Elizabeth Brake (b. abt 1804) Lived on South Fork, Hardy Co., (W)V. Married Ed Moneypenny in Lewis Co., (W)V in 1832. Parents unknown. More info on Elizabeth Brake.

• John Brake to Elizabeth McCass m. 19 Nov 1802, Rockingham County Marriages, W(V) 1778-1939

• Michael S. Brake to Delilah Fulk m. 29 Jan 1822, Rockingham County Marriages, W(V) 1778-1939

  Linda Brake Meyers states "Brenice Brake comes from the Col. Edward Jackson line. She descends from the half sister of my great grandfather, Jacob L. D. Brake, and is from the Jacob and Rachel Jackson Brake family." Rachel was a daughter of Col. Edward Jackson. More on this family in Col. Edward Jackson, Rev.
