Trying to find info about my GGG grandmother's family. She was Abigail Arnold (1817-1903) and was suppose to have been born in PA. She married John Kyle (1811-1900) They lived in Ohio. I am trying to find the burial location of Anna Eblen Arnold, wife of Jonas Rudisill Arnold. Anna died on July 18, 1857 in Roane County Tennessee. After her death Jonas remarried Mary Albright Arnold. Jonas died in 1883 in Exeter, Scott County, Illinois, and is buried locally. His second wife died in 1915 in Oklahoma. Back to Anna Eblen Arnold. Her parents were John William Eblin, Jr. and Ann Whitaker Eblin, both of whom died in Roane County Tennessee, and whose burial location I do not know either. John died in 1828 and his wife Ann died in 1836. As you can see the name Eblen can also be spelled Eblin. Anna is my GGG Grandmother, and of course her parents are my GGGG's. My assumption is that they are probably in the same cemetery, or at least nearby. I have searched FAG with no success. I've also tried Google with no real success. I find her name but only birth and death information, which I already have. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Seeking parents of James and Alfred Hogan who are named as grandsons in the 1836 will of William Arnold, Grant County Kentucky. William and wife Lucy had a daughter named Mary for whom we think may be the mother. We think Mary was married to a William Hogan (aka Hagan). If Mary and William Hogan are the parents, what happened to them? Mary evidently died before her father's death in 1836, based on Mr. Arnold's will. Who are William Arnold's parents? Who are William Hogan's parents? Is this William Hogan one of the Hogan brothers who explored with Daniel Boone? Looking for relatives of Cora Arnold from Charlestown, Indiana. She married Lewis Arnold and he died young from a farm accident and then she married Mr. Scholl. Hi. Not sure who may be interested but I have some things that may be of interest to someone in the Arnold family. I can not tell you much except his first name is Percy. Middle initial appears to be L last name of course is Arnold. I have little a little book that is hand written by him or someone else regarding him. Starts in June 1920. It is like a ledger with balance at the bottom of each page. On one page it states that monies were "recieved from a P.S. Arnold or he paid for me out of Business a/c. The book is very interesting as it has the price he paid for everything from candy to envelopes. Everything he purchased he wrote down. I also have some other books. And a picture. What is going on with the controversy over Thomas and William Arnold, the two 1/2 brothers who supposedly immigrated in 1627 on the ship "Plain Joan" to New England and settled Rhode Isand? Thomas is supposed to be the father of Eleazer Arnold, of the stone chimney house in Lincoln (New England Historical Register). That is my 6th great grandfather. Has anything been done? I'm searching for paul e. arnold and mamie m. arnold who died in swine flu epidemic in 1918. Their children are Lawrence christian arnold (my father), Ervin clifton arnold, and eveline arnold. Lawrence moved to cumberland md and died in 1978. ervin lived in roanoke va and died around 1975. Any info helpful My familiy's patriarch was William Arnold (b.1817/d.1867). He was the oldest verifiable ancestor in our family that can be legally documented. He resided and lived most of his life in Hendricks Co. Indiana with his wife, Eliza Cathrine (Darnall) Arnold (of Bourbon KY) and their 10 children. On his marriage certificate, William named his father as John Arnold, of Virginia (b.1766) marrying an Elizabeth Nowell in Mercer Co. KY in 1789. If anyone has additional data on either John Arnold (b.1766) and his ancestry, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

. My 3rd GG Parents were Thomas ARNOLD, born abt 1778 in Virginia, married Margaret NOEL, born abt 1782 in Virginia. One record I have lists Hardy Co.WVA the place where they were married,but no records of Hardy Co confirm this. They were in Scioto Co., Ohio by 1810 as one of the earliest settlers of Rushtown. They later moved to Henry Co., Iowa. Do you have any one like this in your records. I have never been able to find where in Virginia Thomas was born, or who his parents were, but Margaret was the daughter of Nicholas Noel and Mary Pollock of York Co., Pa, who migrated to Hampshire Co., Va (WVA) by 1788. They also went to Scioto Co., Ohio, where he died in 1804.Thomas and Margaret named a son Isaac, born 1813 in Scioto Co., Ohio and a daughter Elizabeth, born 27 July, 1814 in Scioto Co. looking for connection - Joseph (sometimes called "Deacon Joseph") Arnold (born 1770)was in Palermo, Maine in the late 1700's; he reportedly was the son of William Arnold. In 1794, he fathered Spencer Arnold who later married Nancy Soule (daughter of Amasa Soule) and had Ambrose Arnold in 1819. Because of the given name Spencer, I've always suspected that these Arnolds moved from Conn. to Maine. However, I've not been able to make any definitive connection. Sure would love some help!

My ggGrandfather Simon (Samuel) ARNOLD was a constable in Wilkes-Barre, Pa for many years late 1800's. He was born in Pa. His children were Sylvestor, George Cary (my gGrandfather), Iona May, and Louise C. Louise ARNOLD married Edward BRELSFORD who had a long Osteopathic practice in Wilkes-Barre (He died ~1930). Iona married Colonel Andrew Dingman Seeley (his second wife)and lived in a town just west of Wilkes-Barre.
