Pictures from Veronique's graduation from KU, May 20, 2007
We arrived at her co-op house, 1614 Kentucky, in Lawrence. On the left
are uncle Eric and cousin Cordie, who made
the long trip out to see Veronique's graduation. We then went to dinner
on Mass street.
The next day, Saturday, we visited Don and Lorene in Kansas City, whom
I hadn't seen in years. They haven't changed a
bit. From left is Eric, Cordie, Don, Veronique, aunt Irma,
Lorene, and Mia.
We went to a great all-you-can-eat salad bar restaraunt named Sweet
Tomatoes in KC.
Later that evening we attended the Biology department recognition for
graduates, and then took a stroll
through the KU campus, which is
gorgeous. Here we all are at the bell tower.
At Sunday's commencement, the traditional walk down the hill.
The porch of 1614 Kentucky (that's what they call the place) was the
center of our little after-party.
