Pictures from our trip through the Blue Ridge Parkway.

At the beginning, near Asheville (where we got to see Hazel, pictures of whom are below).

After a night in one of the state camping grounds.  State camp grounds are so inexpensive and expansive.

After breakfast on a beautiful morning.

Linville Falls.

A larger scale view.

At the Natural Bridge, they had sickening admissions price, and we didn't have that kind of money.  But had we, I'd have probably taken
a picture like that on the right.

On the Blue Ridge.

This is at pretty much the end of the blue ridge.  Apparently in less polluted times, the view was even more magnificent.

We stopped by Norfolk to visit Mia's father.  At the maritime museum in downtown.

Mia and I came back to Asheville in October to see aunt Hazel again.  At the Grove Park Inn.
