Questions/Comments about Lab and Lab Practicum
Mon, Apr 14, 3:29 p.m. - What's the open lab means and stand for?
Open lab means there will be no regularly scheduled lab meeting that week. Instead, the lab will be open for certain hours (which will be posted) for people to go in and review their labs in preparation for the practicum the next week. Also, some people who need to make up a missed lab can do so during the open lab week.
Sun, Apr 13, 4:34 p.m. - What week is the last lab practicum?
There will be an open lab the week of April 21 to 24, and then the second lab practicum will be the week of April 28 to May 1. You can find the schedule of labs and all other lab related information in the Lab Info page on the PHYS 212 site.
Thu, Mar 27, 10:45 p.m. - Is it true that in Check Score page, "Lab (150 pts for participation, and 15 pts for Practicum 1 and 50 pts for Practicum 2)"? Or the practicum 1 is 30 pts?
That was an oversight. We forgot to update that from last fall. It should now correctly say that practicum 1 and practicum 2 are each 30 points. Thanks for pointing that out!
Thu, Mar 27, 2:26 p.m. - Is it appropriate for us to know the overall average of the lab scores?
Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking. I'm guessing by lab scores you mean the practicum, right? Do you mean that you know the average and you are wondering whether you should have been given that information? Or are you saying you don't know the average and would like to know it? Or something else?
Tue, Mar 25, 1:57 p.m. - When will the lab practicum grades be posted?
My understanding is that will be within a week.
Fri, Mar 7, 11:05 a.m. - estimated date when practicums will be graded?
It will probably be in two to three weeks. So probably by the end of March.
