The membership on that council shall include the Director of Graduate Studies and the following appointees of the Committee on Instruction: two faculty members from departments with graduate programs, two faculty members from departments without graduate programs (with all faculty chosen to optimize divisional diversity on the council), and two graduate students. Graduate students shall be appointed for two-year terms. At least one of the students shall have the baccalaureate degree from Bucknell University.
