Charge

This committee was formed with a planning and advisory mission. Related to this committee is the ECST that was formed with an administrative and implementation mission. The charge of both of these groups includes the following tasks:

To continuously monitor the state of computing in the College and to guide the vision of the role of computing in the engineering educational programs.
To formulate a coherent three-year college-computing plan based on departmental plans that addresses hardware, software, and curriculum and update it annually.
To be actively involved in the Committee on Academic Computing (CAC) process of funding laboratory and desktop computers. The committee documents the need for such funds and the impact of not receiving sufficient funding.
To disseminate information to the campus regarding computer use and innovation in the College.
