Hello...

We have recently updated matlab from version 6 to version 6.1.  Along with this, we have also updated the license server.   If you try running matlab and you receive an error about the license server not being found, you will need an updated license file.   To update your license file, 

1.  Go to the start menu and select run
2.  type  " \\admin_depts\deanof.eng\public\ecst\matlab_license_update "   {without the quotes}
3.  When the browser window opens, run license_update.bat
4.  When prompted, type Y to update your license file.
5.  Try running matlab. 
6.  Your license file should now be updated.
