You should notice that FDM/SSB uses the minimum possible bandwidth (assuming that we know nothing else about the message signals). Can you think of a way to modify the TDM/PAM system so that it uses the same bandwidth as the FDM/SSB system?
(Hint: What if you use a pulse shape that is not a rectangle? Think of the time-domain view of reconstructing an analog signal from samples.)
