Classes of Signals:

  1. Continuous-time and discrete-time signals

  2. Analog and digital signals

  3. Periodic and aperiodic (or nonperiodic) signals

  4. Energy and power signals

  5. Deterministic and probabilistic (or random) signals
These are the most common and important classes of signals. However, this is not a collectively exhaustive list, so some signals do not fit into these classes.
