I'm putting this site up (initially at least) to show off some cool pictures and object
files anyone might be interested in.  The surfaces below were all created by software
I wrote for CS317 at Carleton College in Northfield, MN.  (Though I have made
significant modifications while here).  For more information on how this surface
grapher works, and available source code, click here.
There are many 3d format viewers out for Windows: I have used
3D Exploration Tool, which converts formats as well, but it has only a 30 day trial.  I
have yet to find a good freeware viewer, but InnovMetric will probably give you a
free licence for IMView if you ask.
If you're interested in math and pretty pictures too, look it up on google (Xah Lee's
page is neat).
Just click on the below images for more information and a zipped object file of the
surface. At bottom are zip files containing multiple objects. (The color can be changed
through the viewer of course.) Additionally, the object files contain a mathematical
description of their surface.
