Antiques - Zanesville has eighteen (18) antique stores! Many on Main Street in downtown. Many feature Zanesville and Roseville Art pottery and glassware.
Pottery - At one time Zanesville was the "Pottery Capital of the World." Several potteries are still in the area and many stores feature Zanesville Art Pottery and Roseville Art Pottery.
Artist Colony - In recent years Zanesville has become an artist colony with over twenty-five artists living and working in the area. The primary individual behind this effort is internationally known sculptor Alan Cottrill. A monthly "First Friday" evening gallery-hop (6 Pm to 9 Pm) has drawn excellent reviews. On Friday Saturday August 1st stop by the Alan Cottrill Sculpture Studio & Gallery at 110 S. Sixth Street for a map of the night's locations.

The Wilds is one of the largest and most innovative wildlife conservation centers in the world. Located on nearly 10,000 acres near Cumberland, Ohio. One rides in Safari vehicles to see the animals. Adult price is $18 and kids $13. Open seven days a week in August. About 20 miles south-east of Zanesville.

Longaberger Company in Dresden, Ohio (15 miles north of Zanesville). American handwoven baskets. See the house-sized picnic basket in Dresden (See street map of Dresden).
