The gravesite is located at Zanesville, Ohio, on the Old Snyder Farm along route #146, now called "Happy Hollow." The site is in need of care. The grass was taller than the huge stone which was itself covered with poison ivy. It was impossible to tell if there were other graves there. We were told that George was buried between his two wives, so perhaps there are field stones or other markers nearby.
