Pilgrims Way
During the Middle Ages Pilgrims walked from London to Canterbury
on the Pilgrims Way.
This is the path used by the pilgrims in The
Canterbury Tales by Chaucer.
Here the Pilgrims Way is crossing the A252 at Charing.
We hike a few hundred feet on the Pilgrims Way.
The Pilgrims Way towards Canterbury (about 20 miles away).
The Pilgrims Way also branches
off towards Dover, England for pilgrimages to Europe and Jerusalem.
