The Hyde's England Trip, June, 2004
Robin Hood Country
England
We stay at a B&B called Brecks Cottage in Robin Hood Country near Nottingham.
Brecks Cottage is 350 years old and has doorways about 5 1/2 feet high.
The doorways were a big problem for Dan who is 6 foot 2
inches! He learned to walk stooped down.
Another shot of Dan in low doorway.
The B&B came with terry cloth bathrobes.
In a moment of silliness, Mary Jane, Scott and Jan try them on.

The 1000 year old Major Oak. It has a thirty-foot girth and
branches 260 feet in circumferences.
Robin Hood and his band of thieves supposedly used this tree as a
meeting place and a place to store things.
