I am an assistant professor in the Physics and Astronomy department at Bucknell University in the central Susquehanna valley. I graduated from the
Department of Physics and Astronomy at
Rutgers University and did a postdoc at Penn State nearby before getting here. I am generally interested in all things science and technology related, and try to keep
in touch with recent developments in the fields of physics, genetics, evolutionary biology and technology.
My research is in
general area of condensed matter physics. Below is a description of some of my PhD research using
only the most common thousand words in English.
I am also very passionate about science and math education, and have been actively involved in teaching.
